thirty-fourth week

I'm fully aware that this is getting repetitive, but I've not had much leisure to read this past week either, despite having begun two very interesting books! The project on which I'm currently working requires checking a myriad small details, and, of course, every single one takes much more time than I would have expected… Speaking of which, said project has expanded to a size far greater than my direct client and myself were originally told, and to be perfectly honest I'm not looking forward to it.

Watching a random video on YouTube led me to Hypatia, the journal of feminist philosophy published by Cambridge University Press. I've bookmarked 50 open access articles I want to read in the near future — which brings me to mention that I've just started using Notion to manage my personal and professional tasks. Since creating all types of page templates is so easy, and it's possible to link directly from a Notion page to any web contents, this particular reading list now resides there. I've also compiled a few biographical works on Emily Dickinson… by women, of course.

As for the audio side of life, I'm still listening to "The Curious History of Your Home," the delightful podcast I wrote about last week. I also decided to revisit "The Teacher's Pet," "The Teacher's Trial" and "The Teacher's Accuser," which are just as good as I recall and don't lose any of its impact on a second listen.
